Enter the beautiful world of stained glass with our Beginner’s Stained Glass Workshop at Mayerthorpe Public Library! Whether you are new to this artistic medium or looking to refresh your skills, this hands-on class is the perfect starting point. No previous experience is required.

Date & Time: October 26th, 1pm to 4pm
Second date added: November 2nd, 1pm to 4pm

Location: Meeting Room
Instructor: Pat Cass

In this engaging workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of stained glass art from a seasoned instructor. Topics include:

• Understanding glass types and tools
• Cutting and shaping glass pieces
• Copper foil method and soldering techniques
• Assembling and finishing your stained glass project

This class is free, however, a fee of $30 is payable to the instructor for materials. Utilize the library's Pay it Forward Fund for your material fees - ask the front desk staff for information.

Pat Cass is a seasoned stained glass artisan with over 35 years of experience. Her work can be seen in various architectural projects across Calgary, and she has taught numerous stained glass classes throughout her career.
