First, you may ask, What is STEAM?

STEAM is an acronym for educational programming that includes Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and/or Mathematics. Sounds like fun right?! At MPL, it most certainly will be!

From Lego to robots to colouring, we will set out various stations and kids can choose which one they want to play at. While they play they will complete challenges and tasks for a little subtle learning. Because space is limited, we will have a sign-up sheet at the library the week before the program. When the list is full, everyone else will be waitlisted or moved to the beginning of the list for the following week. This program is for children ages 7 or older.

Participants will be expected to help clean up stations when our time for the day is up.

Pembina West Co-op has generously sponsored this program. Additional funding for library programs is received from the Town of Mayerthorpe FCSS and Lac Ste. Anne County FCSS.
