Gardening in Raised Beds

Thursday, June 11th, 7pm

Is this the summer to build the raises beds you've always wanted? Have you been wondering if gardening in raised beds is better than growing in the ground? Maybe you've got raised beds and you have some questions? This gardening session with Lac St. Anne County's Horticulturist, Lorraine Taylor is for you. We'll talk about the advantages and disadvantages of gardening off the ground; look at a variety of construction designs; and answer questions about size, the kind of soil to use and what crops do well in these beds.

Lorraine has talked with gardeners in our area to learn about their best tips for success. There will be time for questions at the end of the session. If you have raised beds and love them- we'd love to hear from you too!

After registering for the class, you will have an opportunity to  submit your questions and recommendations.
