Date / Time:
May 28, 2020 - 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Have a bit of extra time on your hands? Why not sign into Hoopla and read the latest book club pick, The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek by Kim Michele Richardson? The Bookers will meet to discuss this highly rated novel on Thursday, May 28th (if the weather is mild we will be outside, if not, join us on Zoom). All are welcome to join.

The Book Woman of Troublesome Creek is a powerful message about how the written word affects people--a story of hope and heartbreak, raw courage and strength splintered with poverty and oppression, and one woman's chances beyond the darkly hollows. Inspired by the true and historical blue-skinned people of Kentucky and the brave and dedicated Kentucky Pack Horse library service.
